A Little Log Cabin
He was born in a little log cabin. It had a dirt floor, and the roof was made out of palm leaves, but otherwise it was logs. Logs that were laid horizontally one atop the other until they came up to the roof. This was a very common architecture in those days, and a testament to the ingenuity of the inhabitants of the region, as the roof was always constructed first, so the builders could remain dry while constructing the walls and the rest of the structure. It rained 50 weeks of the year in the province of Bandolero's youth, which explains the pale color of his skin, which gave him a useful disguise in later years when the Federales would scour the countryside in search of that latino bandito who calls himself Bandolero! Destiny Calls
Later, when he was old enough, he set off in search of his destiny.
"Bye, mom!" he cried.
"Bye, Bandolero!" his mother cried.
"Bye, dad!" he cried.
"Bye, Bandolero!" his father cried.
"Bye, dog!" he cried.
"Woof!" his dog cried.
And the rest is legend.
